Battling cancer, nine-year-old Jayla Cooper now gets her ONE BIG WISH. ---------- [FEB 21 2009] CLICK To Watch JONAS BROTHERS SURPRISE JAYLA ! : www.youtube.com CLICK To Watch JONAS Brothers EXPERIENCE: Interview & Life Story : www.youtube.com The bride was dressed in ruffled white and wore a tiara. The groom pledged to be her best friend forever. They exchanged rings, and the lucky North Texas couple swooned as they danced to their favorite song -- "Love Bug" by the Jonas Brothers. They may be a tender age -- Jayla Cooper is 9 and the groom, Jose Griggs, is 7 -- but their parents were behind them all the way. For Jayla, who has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of leukemia and who, according to her doctors, may only have weeks to live, the "wedding" was less a dream come true than a last wish. "He is very cute, and I love him," Jayla said of Jose, who has a chronic and more treatable form of leukemia with a strong prognosis of recovery. "I was so excited and happy," she told ABCNews.com. "It was really fun, and we had dances and did a lot of things." She met her husband-to-be at a Halloween party while they were both being treated at the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Children's Medical Center in Dallas. "They did it right, like the real deal," according to hospital spokeswoman Jessica Newell, who said it was more of a celebration of friendship. "It was really sweet." Jayla wanted all the fanfare of a wedding -- including 150 guests, floral arrangements ...

Need to knows for Moms to be Ep 8- Breastfeeding Basics Part 2
I am a postpartum nurse, I don't do labor...yet. However, I have learned so much just by being in the atmosphere. This series is basically me sharing what I have learned and think is important to know that the "lay person" may not know. I don't claim to be an expert on anything, but I have resources at my fingertips. :) This week we are talking about some Breastfeeding Basics.

Ultrasound 6 weeks 3 days
Ultrasound 6 weeks 3 days
We found out I had a subchorionic hematoma after going to the er with abdominal pain. The baby was measuring 5 weeks 5 days instead of the 6 weeks 6 days I was supposed to be measuring. There was no heartbeat on the first ultrasound and I was told the baby had probably stopped growing and that I was going to miscarry. Went back to get a second ultrasound 4 days later to find the baby was growing accordingly and they found the fetal pole. So happy you could see the heartbeat! The subchorionic hematoma was still visible but had shrunk. Good news. Fingers are still crossed that all goes well! :) Perhaps it was a late ovulation and the dates were off. EDD: 09/27/11 UPDATE: 03/11/11- Baby is now almost 12 weeks and is great. Subchorionic hematoma had vanished by the 10 week ultrasound and baby had a good strong heart beat by the next ultrasound. I was told that with a bleed that big I would certainly miscarry. Everything is fine now have hope if you are going through this!
