We found out I had a subchorionic hematoma after going to the er with abdominal pain. The baby was measuring 5 weeks 5 days instead of the 6 weeks 6 days I was supposed to be measuring. There was no heartbeat on the first ultrasound and I was told the baby had probably stopped growing and that I was going to miscarry. Went back to get a second ultrasound 4 days later to find the baby was growing accordingly and they found the fetal pole. So happy you could see the heartbeat! The subchorionic hematoma was still visible but had shrunk. Good news. Fingers are still crossed that all goes well! :) Perhaps it was a late ovulation and the dates were off. EDD: 09/27/11 UPDATE: 03/11/11- Baby is now almost 12 weeks and is great. Subchorionic hematoma had vanished by the 10 week ultrasound and baby had a good strong heart beat by the next ultrasound. I was told that with a bleed that big I would certainly miscarry. Everything is fine now have hope if you are going through this!
